PRODUCT DETAILS

Wooden frames, being organic, exhibit natural color and grain variations that may differ from piece to piece.

Treat picture frames delicately; they are prone to breakage.

Hinged artworks are fragile; avoid shaking or dropping. Store unframed hinged pieces flat. For framed hinged artworks, maintain the intended display orientation during storage or shipment.

Acrylic-glazed frames can be affected by thermal expansion in high temperatures. Keep your frame and artwork at a constant 70 degrees and 50% RH to preserve them. Avoid direct sunlight, car storage, or areas without proper air conditioning.

Frames or artwork damage resulting from improper handling, display, or storage is not the responsibility of Madera Malo.

Artwork damage caused by non-archival materials supplied by the client is not covered by Madera Malo.

LOCAL PICKUP

Phoenix Metro is a local pickup option. Orders must be collected within two weeks after fulfillment.

DELIVERY

Delivery is available in the Phoenix metro area, inquire about delivery and installation pricing.

LEAD TIME, SHIPPING & RETURNS

  • Estimated completion date assigned to Custom Framing orders, typically 4 weeks from receipt of artwork and deposit, subject to demand variations.

  • Retail orders ship within 5 business days.

  • Rush orders or special deliveries are priced higher than regular ground shipping.

SHIPPING & HANDLING

All orders are meticulously packed to industry standards for delicate works. Buyer assumes the risk of loss or damage during transit. Madera Malo is not liable for damage or loss during transit.

CLAIMS

Inspect shipment upon receipt. Claims must be notified within five business days. Not filing a claim within this period is treated as accepting the goods as is.

For claims, retain the original packaging and contents, photograph damage, and contact the carrier for claim instructions. Inform Maderamalodesign@gmaill.com of the damages and include photographs.

RETURNS

Framing items are eligible for returns only if damaged due to our packing process during shipping. Credit issued, no cash refunds.

Print items are eligible for returns within seven business days.

PEAK LEAD TIMES

Anticipate extended lead times during peak exhibition and art fair seasons. Ordering 12 weeks ahead is advisable.

CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES

Custom orders accepted by Madera Malo cannot be canceled or altered without our written request. Changes may require reimbursement for production costs or additional expenses for custom-made items. Deposits are not refunded for canceled orders.

Print orders must be canceled within 24 hours, shipping costs will not be reimbursed if an order has been shipped.
